We’re a leading provider of certified safety glass and protective glazing solutions used by federal, state, and local government agencies. Our products support secure facilities, transportation fleets, and mission‑critical operations. As our government customer base expands, we’re looking for a remote Account Manager who can strengthen relationships, guide agencies through procurement, and help them find the right protective solutions.
The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for government buyers, procurement officers, and facility managers. You’ll manage a portfolio of public‑sector accounts, ensuring they receive accurate product guidance, compliant documentation, and a smooth purchasing experience. This role blends relationship management, technical understanding, and familiarity with government contracting.
You’ll work closely with assigned agencies to understand their needs, recommend appropriate safety glass products, and support them through RFQs, RFPs, bids, and contract renewals. You’ll prepare quotes and proposals, maintain accurate CRM records, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure orders move efficiently from production to delivery. You’ll also look for opportunities to expand product usage within existing accounts and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
We’re looking for someone with experience managing government accounts or selling into the public sector. You should be comfortable navigating procurement processes, communicating with contracting officers, and explaining technical product details in a clear, accessible way. Strong organization, follow‑through, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.
Candidates with backgrounds in safety glass, construction materials, building security, or related technical industries will have an advantage. Familiarity with GSA schedules, SAM.gov, or state procurement systems is also helpful.
