The News in Books. New York, NY Book Editor Intern. January 2016- February 2016.  Edit assigned manuscripts for grammar, story and character consistency, and readability. Work closely with manuscript author to implement minor suggested changes and encourage acceptance of larger changes.  Clear all documents before they are moved on to line editing.

   
East Coast Kids.   New York, NY Lead Health and Fitness Editorial Intern.  July 2015- December 2015 . Manage the magazines Health and Fitness staff and department by assigning projects, creating progress reports, and ensure writers adhere to deadlines. Report directly to Human Recourses and East Coast Kids President. Serve as Head of Health and Fitness Division in collaborating with photo, editorial, and web departments. Coordinate monthly issue release by deadlines.

   Each One Reach One. New York, NY  Writing Tutor.  February 2015-January 2016. Assist students in drafting, revising, and structuring class or scholarship papers. Guide students in the understanding of written English by way of advice and correction.

   Dzanc Books. New York, NY Editorial Intern.  January 2015-May 2015.  Read author submissions for potential publication. Write detailed evaluations of submissions in regards to content, relevancy, quality, and readability. Draft and send rejection letters to authors whose work do not meet publication criteria.

  Kirkus Media.  Cristal River, FL  Fiction Book Reviewer.  May 2012- June 2013  Read and reviewed books to write 250-500 word reviews on a two week deadline. Emailed reviews to editors for revision and publication.

  Citrus County Library   Crystal River, FL Volunteer Floor and Office Staff.  November 2011- June 2012 . Assisted patrons in finding material including books, magazines, and media.   Stacked books and media alphabetically and in accordance to Dewey Decimal System. Filed various documents and library materials.  

The Yip.com . Houlton, Maine Managing Editor and Staff Writer. March 2010 – June 2011  Managed a writing staff of 7 to create and develop an online magazine. Assigned weekly or bi weekly assignments including story topics and interview assignments to be submitted within a two week deadline. Assisted writers in finding sources to support articles.
