After several years of working with computers at home, school, and in positions I have worked, I have become very knowledgeable in my computer skills. I am proficient in programs such as Microsoft Word. I can currently type between 40 to 50 wpm. I am a quick study when faced with new and unusual tasks, keep a positive “Can-Do” attitude, and work safely, quickly, and efficiently with little to no supervision. I work very well as part of a team, and I am very dependable having excellent attendance records at all of my previous employments and schools. I have had much experience in sales and customer service and dealt with customers face to face as well as over the phone. When faced with difficult customers, I always kept my composure, upbeat demeanor, and did my very best to make sure the customer was happy and satisfied.

Slitter Machine Operator/Press Operator
I worked to ensure that thirty presses had sufficient fiber glass, in the right dimensions for each press, to keep them up and running by using a slitter machine. Also on occasion, I was in charge of operating the presses when my work on the slitter machine was caught up or ahead. I had to leave this position due to plant closure.

08/2008-09/2010 Sears Chillicothe, OH
Sales Associate/Area Lead
I was in charge of the shoe department and stockroom. I kept track of price changes in the computer system and made changes, when necessary, to price tags. I had to keep the filing system up to date with current inventory. I would bring stock from the loading docks to my department stockroom and kept track of my inventory ordering more when needed. I provided customer service on the sales floor and spoke with customers over the phone on a day to day basis. I left this position due to a better employment opportunity.

Sales Associate/Area Lead
I was in charge of the fragrance department and cash till for the entire store. I used a POS system and provided customer service in my area. I was in charge of making sure the cash till had its correct amounts at the beginning and end of my shift, and I authorized other employees to get change from the till with the correct papers. I also was in charge of setting displays and stocking my area. Customer service was also a large portion of this position. I dealt with customer complaints and scheduled appointments for customers to come in to test products. I left this position due to relocation with my husband in the US Amry.

Assembly Specialist

I worked with a team on an assembly line building semi-trucks. I worked at several positions in my department using several parts and tools. Communication was key to be able to get the job done smoothly and efficiently. I left this position to take care of a family member with brain cancer where I scheduled all appointments and dealt with insurance companies.
