We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Customer Service and Order Processing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily customer orders, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring the smooth processing and shipment of orders. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues efficiently will be key to your success in this role.

Summary:

  • Input daily orders (which arrive via internet)
  • Handle Customer telephone calls
  • Follow-up on Customer inquiries
  • Provide information about the products and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Work with Other departments to assure smooth shipment of orders

Qualifications:

  • A “CAN DO” attitude will go a long way and be rewarded in our environment
  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel skills are a major plus



Responsibilities:

-Generate accurate quotes for customers using custom pricing module and Excel spreadsheets

-Process incoming sales orders from distributors

-Respond to customer inquiries from distributor sales representatives and end users regarding product related issues and concerns, order status, shipping questions, etc.

-Provide technical support on product questions

-Work with custom online product configurator/3D CAD program to assist customers

-Serve as liaison between customers and plant employees

-Follow up with sales leads from various sources

-Embrace opportunities for special projects as necessary

-Monitor competitors’ products to understand their strengths/weaknesses

-Implement marketing initiatives as required

Qualifications and Experience:

-3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role providing exceptional customer service, preferably in a manufacturing environment

-Technical training/degree helpful, but not required

-Ability to work well in a small company setting, where cross training will be required

-Professional demeanor and willingness to learn

-Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel

-Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
