We specialize in delivering accurate, high-quality transcription services for law firms, legal departments, and other clients nationwide. To support our growing demand, we’re looking for Legal Transcription Editors to join our team on a remote, flexible basis.

Job Description: VOT remote legal transcribers will edit AI-generated legal depositions, hearings, trials, and other legal recordings on our platform. Legal transcribers ensure that the AI-generated text is a true and accurate record of the proceeding, and that the transcript is formatted per legal client guidelines.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and proofread AI-generated legal transcripts to ensure accuracy and correct any errors or omissions.
  • Ensure the transcript closely matches the audio recording, including legal terminology, names, dates, and details.
  • Format transcripts according to client-specific guidelines, ensuring consistency in style, layout, and formatting.
  • Identify and correct grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with care.
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize workload based on project urgency.
  • Perform other admin duties such as creating digital reports and spreadsheets

Requirements:

  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies between audio and text.
  • Proficiency working with basic computer software such as data entry, spreadsheets, etc
  • Ability to follow specific formatting guidelines and client instructions precisely.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Interest in legal field or legal terminology
