Work at Home – Data Entry Service Assistants, $20/hr

THESE POSITION ARE WORK FROM HOME; THE TRAINING WILL BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY. 

ACTIVELY HIRING FOR THIS POSITION. IT WILL WORK IN A REMOTE CAPACITY AND DUE TO COVID-19 THE CANDIDATE WILL COMPLETE ALL TRAINING FOR THIS JOB ONLINE.

International non-profit is seeking an Data Entry Service Assistant to provide high level administrative and data entry support. The role requires a high level of initiative, problem solving, confidentiality, and personal judgement to handle both written and verbal communications with all level of staff and vendors.






Responsibilities

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for charities to assist with the application process and general questions about services
  • Managing meeting schedules, preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and making travel arrangements
  • Maintains charity and grant databases and enters data, corrects data, edits data, and performs research to locate data in the database.
  • Working with internal teams to complete proposals
  • Conducting research and handling information requests
  • Completes reports, Powerpoint presentations, and other tasks as assigned
  • Key in information electronically into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
  • Organizes and maintains received data and source documents (i.e., intake forms, bed lists and other related documents.
  • Prepares and sorts source documents and identify data to be entered related to shelters, food banks and other organizations.
  • Contacts preparer of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Makes necessary corrections to information entered.
  • Compiles, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered.
  • Reviews reports and enter corrections as needed.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding data entered.
  • Completes all data entry, accurately and completely within 48 hours of receipt
  • Performs all other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3 months experience working as a data entry clerk/assistant or Administrative Assistant.
  • Proficiency in web-based databases including and MS Word, Excel in the Outlook Office 365 Suite.
  • Experience working from home is helpful.

SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing
  • Ability to work with diverse staff and client population
  • Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, and sentence structure to ensure written materials prepared are complete, succinct, and free of errors.
  • Ability to operate job related equipment including the use of basic computer programs

$20/hour full time. Monday-Friday hours 8am-5:30/pm EST Must be willing to begin work immediately. All training will be completed online.
