$17 per hour, full and part time. 12 openings, work remotely from home
Our business has increased as a result of the pandemic so we have immediate need for virtual assistants to work in a support role for our educational program.
We provide families an online option for a high-quality, personalized education experience. Students can thrive, find their passion, and learn in an environment that encourages discovery at their own pace. In support of this, we need Virtual Learning Assistants to support parents, students and teachers. This is 100% home based work.
The Virtual Assistant supports our clients by ensuring the smooth transition of enrollment, participation, and customer support. The Virtual Learning Assistant also provides help to parents, students, and educational staff including teachers and administrators.
AS A VIRTUAL LEARNING ASSISTANT, YOU WILL…
- Monitor email account daily and process incoming email appropriately
- Respond to general questions via phone and email from parents, students, school officials, and staff
- Evaluate incoming transcripts
- Input accurate and timely data
- Update student information in all applicable databases; Evaluate, complete, and track college application paperwork for senior level students
- Evaluate and complete student employment forms, work permits, etc.
- Create, process and mail letters, newsletters and other documents
- Respond to questions and comments on social media.
- Note all interactions or pertinent actions in student electronic record
- Verify completeness of homeschool portfolios prior to review by committee
- All other duties as necessary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assimilate business policies and processes into practice
- Strong customer service focus
- Team player with positive, outgoing, flexible attitude
- Ability to multi-task, while keeping to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong ability and initiative to solve problems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to pass required background check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working from home is helpful
- Experience working as an administrative assistant is helpful
- Experience in a customer service environment is helpful
