The world’s leading home & garden website is now hiring social media community managers to work from home. In this role, you will oversee and manage the day to day operations of our highly engaged user base across multiple platforms and products.

This is a full time, remote position where you’ll have the luxury of working from home while collaborating with our awesome team who is located in California and New York.

Job Description:

• Plan and implement our social posting calendar for Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram in collaboration with our video and community teams.

• Work with our team of graphic designers to obtain images.
• Write headlines, captions, short descriptions, and general information blurbs.

• Monitor comments and messages and engage with our community across multiple social platforms.

• Monitor our interactive home decor and craft shows, magazines, videos, blogs, podcasts, and website.

• Assist in coordination and communication with events, specialists, programming and other related content and activities.

• Assist in content marketing and branding initiatives.

Qualifications:

• You must have the ability to write short captions and descriptions that are interesting, informative, and error-free.

• You have proven social media experience.

• You have at least 2 years experience working with Facebook, instagram, and Youtube.

• You enjoy working with an online community and enjoy working with influencers in a partnership capacity by being able to provide stellar customer service.
• You must have an interest in home design, the home & garden marketplace, interior design trends, home decor and crafts, gardening and DIY projects.
