Assistant Producer/Videographer

Location: Remote/ Chicago

Our Institute is seeking applications for a full-time position located either in Chicago or a remote, home based office. As an Assistant Producer/Videographer. The individual in this role will, in cooperation with a production team, produce original multimedia content for us and our associated outlets; help develop the visual style of the site’s video content, and research and pitch new ideas for video content.

Responsibilities:

• Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for scholar policy analyses, external promotional social videos, donor-relations marketing videos, and other enterprise-wide projects.

• Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics.

• Manage the lighting and audio/video recording for live streaming online video productions.

• Prepare and format videos and podcasts for use online and associated social media channels.

• Provide editing and other production services as required for video content related to breaking news and other policy-related products.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience with AV Production

• Exceptional writing and proof-reading skills

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop), Livestream Producer.
