Full time, work from home. $22/hr. Touring, up and coming indie rock band is looking for a Social Media Promotions Specialist to interact with fans, venues, and targeted audiences. The goal is to achieve higher ticket at shows that are performed across the USA and overseas.

You will work on Facebook, Reddit, Intagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, SoundCloud, and BandCamp.  You will need a basic understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.
Responsibilities

• Execute social media strategy through competitive research, Advertizing, messaging and audience identification

• Generate, edit, publish and share original text, images, video and other content in many different markets as our tour schedule changes every week. We need to encourage community members to show up at our concerts.

• Set up and optimize band pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content

• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.

• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
• Appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then act on the information
• Create events and maintain events calendar of all shows and performances.

Skills

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills

• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

• Fluency in English
