Job Summary

Responsible for the concept, design and production of printed and electronic materials to
include, but not limited to, sales and marketing brochures, advertising materials, internal
communications, exhibit graphics, presentations, video and multimedia elements and web
graphics.

Core Responsibilities

• Creates print materials, multimedia presentations and exhibit materials. Selects and/or creates format, media, typography, photography and/or illustrations for the most effective means of communicating a message.
• Works closely with team members in project development‐‐which includes originating concept and choosing medium, preparing and presenting creative proposals, setting realistic timelines, tracking project progress and completing projects on deadline. Works directly with internal clients to meet their graphic needs.
• Serves as primary liaison with creative service suppliers‐‐e.g. freelancers, printers, paper representatives, photographers and videographers in project development and production.
• Follows projects from inception to final production, including obtaining quotes, making multiple revisions and securing final approvals.
• Maintains an ongoing project timeline that charts the status of all approved design projects.
• Maintains an organized library of stock and custom photography as well as illustrations.

Qualifying Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications Arts or equivalent training and expertise, required.
• Minimum, 2 (two) years of Graphic Design and/or Communications experience, required.
• Possesses a strong portfolio, required.
