Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

$21.45 per hour, multiple openings, full and part time. Remote Chat Support Specialist’s responsibility is to respond to customer’s chat requests from various websites across the world. You will work from home to help customers have a positive experience, answer questions, assist with orders, provide product information, and update account information. Remote Chat Specialists must display a high level of care when interacting with customers and be able to handle simultaneous interactions in a professional and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide superior customer satisfaction
  • Receive and promptly respond to customer inquiries
  • Process orders through chat
  • Provide detailed information on products or services
  • Check item availability
  • Update accounts
  • Document issues and resolutions
  • Identify possible website errors
  • Adhere to work schedule

  • Ability to type 35-45 WPM
  • Must pass typing test to be considered for the position
  • Must have a private and professional home office with all necessary equipment including a newer computer, Internet access, a mobile phone, unlimited text messaging, and the MS Office Suite. Must be able to download and install our chat software (we will provide the software)

WORK SCHEDULE:

Full time: 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Part time: 10-25 hours weekly with flexible hours. Must be able to work rotating shifts as needed.
