The Brand Blogger will be responsible for creating posts about our products. We will provide daily lists of topics. You will write descriptions, personal experiences, and tell stories about our products and our customers.
Creating and planning content through copy, imagery, video and other content types on our social media platforms
Working closely with Brand Content Strategist and Brand Managers to plan content
Contact our customers via email/phone, product sampling, and event invitations to obtain testimonials and stories
Assisting in planning, writing and editing blog content
Edit and proof all posts
Assisting in monthly editorial calendar planning
Researching consumer-relevant content, trends and stories to assist in monthly trend reports.
Monitor customer interaction
Monitors external blogs, social networking sites and forums and Competitors activities. Participates in the conversation as needed
Obtains content from customers and vendors including videos and images from Vendors, external websites, bloggers and influencers to be posted on social media properties
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 2 – 4 years’ experience in brand marketing, preferably in the digital space; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Or experience working as a blogger, social media manager, or brand representative
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have basic to expert knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
