Job Description
3 openings, full and part time. Work from home, $20 per hour.
Provides remote virtual administrative support to the executive team including the President/CEO as needed.
Provides support in a timely and professional manner and performs diverse administrative and secretarial functions. Handles matters both of a routine nature and assignments requiring independent decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries
- Maintain meeting minutes and confirm completion of follow up activities
- Update company intranet and coordinate articles for company magazine
- Coordinate corporate events to take place outside of the work place, such as training events and employee appreciation activities
- Enter and update data to databases
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality and professionalism
Skills/Education/Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Executive Assistant or administrative assistant. Virtual experience preferred but not required.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including power point
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the organization
- Flexibility in schedule as some projects may require occasional evening or weekend work/phone calls
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree or 2 years Technical Training is preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:
None required however Excel training is helpful
SKILLS:
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications (e-mail, Calendar, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) at intermediate to advanced level.
- Ability to work independently without supervision or instruction
- Highly effective organizational skills, decision making and problem solving
- Effective communication and excellent customer relations skills
- Competence in secretarial, word processing, phone etiquette, spelling and grammar.
- Ability to read and write in English required.
- Excellent data entry entry skills, administrative abilities and computer software skills including MS Office and others.
EXPERIENCE:
Five years administrative/office management experience required, with two years experience substituted for post high school training. Additional four years administrative/office management experience required. Knowledge/experience in the following areas preffered : (1) Contracts; (2) Ability to respond quickly and correctly to situations that arise; (3) Bookkeeping / accounting knowledge; (4) Be pro-active in providing assistance to President/CEO.
We will provide all needed computer/phone equipment. Must have dedicated working area that can be used for video collaboration.
