$20/hour, Up to 20 hours per week (required part-time availability 7 days/week), with high potential to increase over time (up to 30+ hr/week)

We are looking for a manual data entry and accuracy assurance specialists to support a U.S. based marketing startup during this high demand time due to our increased data needs as a result of the Coronavirus.

The ideal candidates have a commitment to deadlines, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional data entry speed and accuracy, strong communication skills, and ability to quickly and easily check report calculation outputs for possible software bugs and resulting miscalculations. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working remotely and be highly responsive to communication on email and/or Slack.

Basic Duties

• Accessing and compiling key data points from PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, and other types of reports
• Data entry and compilation into Excel spreadsheet format
• Detecting and correcting errors as required
• Data and accuracy quality assurance — accuracy is key.
• Mathematical and formula quality assurance
• Basic administrative duties to include typing and document preparation in MS Word, Excel and Google Docs
• Market research (as needed) usually via the Internet or internal databases

Other Duties

• Extract appropriate data from case investigation and contact tracing forms/data bases and enter data in spreadsheets and other electronic platforms.

• Review electronic case investigation files and contact tracing database to extract certain data points.

• Enter data in spreadsheets and other electronic platforms.

• Work as part of a team to assure consistency in COVID 19 data analysis and to identify opportunities for quality improvement in data analysis.

• Maintains strict confidentiality, adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

• Maintain daily communication with supervisor on activities and tasks.
