Order Entry/Customer Service Rep
Our growing client is seeking a reliable, organized order department representative /customer order clerks to operate the day-to-day sales order needs.
The ideal candidate would have advanced skills in purchase orders, handle all incoming orders, data entry, and provide the customer with information on any products or orders. A clerk must be comfortable with redundant work and minute day-to-day tasks. Also, the applicant must have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent client communication skills.
-Daily Order Entry – Order Processing
- Generates Return Authorizations/Credit Memos/Replacement Orders.
- Updating information on Purchase Orders
- Fast passed entry of customers’ purchase orders.
- Clerks work on the phone and email to fulfill orders for clients and customers.
- Access PDF documents to obtain information and then enter that information into our database.
- Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
- Must have 1-2 years’ experience working in an office environment
- Experience working from home is helpful
- Strong data entry skills using Excel (spreadsheets)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent relationship building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, multi-tasking and detail-oriented.
- Strong organizational skills.
Compensation: $15.00 – 18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Part time work between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday (C.S.T.)
